Here's what Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mevani said while campaigning for AAP candidate Atishi Marlena in Delhi

Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mevani on Sunday campaigned for AAP's East Delhi candidate Atishi Marlena in the National Capital. Taking to Twitter, Jignesh Mewani posted few tweets where he can be seen campaigning for the AAP candidate.

Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mevani on Sunday campaigned for AAP's East Delhi candidate Atishi Marlena in the National Capital. Taking to Twitter, Jignesh Mewani posted a few tweets where he can be seen campaigning for the AAP candidate. 

In the first tweet, the Gujarat MLA wrote, "The fabulous results of 94.24% students passing in the XII board exams this year is a lasting legacy of her work in government schools."

In another tweet, he wrote, "In East Delhi with AAP's candidate Atishi. This is AAP's candidate and the people's. She is working being between you, and wishes to work for your benefit. No caste, no religion - press the button on work." 

In a video posted by AAP's Joint Secretary Akshay Marathe, Jignesh Mevani can be seen addressing the people of Old Seemapuri during the Atishi's Delhi rally. 

The AAP candidate is locked in a three-way battle with BJP candidate Gautam Gambhir and Congress's Arvinder Singh Lovely. 

Actor Prakash Raj on Saturday also began his week-long campaigning for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the national capital and urged people to come together to reclaim the republic. The actor-turned-politician is also contesting in the Lok Sabha elections from the Bengaluru Cental Lok Sabha seat as an Independent candidate.

Delhi will go to polls in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections on May 12. The results are scheduled to be declared on May 23.
