SCOOP: Congress MLAs want Sachin Pilot as Rajasthan CM, Ashok Gehlot wants Rahul Gandhi to decide
The assembly election results of Rajasthan favoured the Congress party on December 11. After a tug-of-war for the Chief Minister's position between Sachin Pilot and Ashok Gehlot that was underway, sources have confirmed the decision of the party to give Sachin Pilot the seat of Rajasthan's next Chief Minister.Â

In a course of an alleged tug-of-war for the Chief Minister's position between Sachin Pilot and Ashok Gehlot that is underway, sources have notified Republic TV that two-thirds of the party's MLAs have supported Sachin Pilot to be the next Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
However, Gehlot has proposed at the party's on-going Legislative meet that suggests that he wants the final decision to be taken by the high command of the party, while supporters in Jodhpur have already started maha yagya for Gehlot to be the Chief Minister.
Leading with 99 seats in the State out of the total 199, the developments from the Congress party for the decision of Chief Minister position.
A probable press conference would be held at 4 pm on Wednesday.
Pilot earlier on Wednesday said that "Whatever the MLAs have to say they will say in the meeting and the final decision is left to the Congress president and other party leaders. We will take a call today."
Meanwhile, in Madhya Pradesh, a similar situation can be witnessed between Kamal Nath and Jyotiraditya Scindia, who both say that party president Rahul Gandhi will make the decision to pick the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.

Rahul Gandhi briefly spoke about the party and the selection of CM for the state as there has been a tug of war reportedly between Kamal Nath and Jyotiraditya Scindia.
