'Jaa Simran Jaa, he is a responsible citizen', encourages DDLJ's Bauji in PIB's viral 'vote for India' election awareness call
More reasons have emerged for Simran to run faster towards Raj’s outstretched hand in ‘Dilwale Dulhania le jayenge’ (DDLJ), this time from the Press Information Bureau (PIB) which has released a meme with Simran’s father, the veteran actor Late Amrish Puri asking his daughter, ‘Kya kaha, Raj har baar Vote deta hai!! (What, Raj votes every time?)’.

As Simran answers ‘Han Bauji’, he gives his blessing saying ‘Jaa Simran Jaa, he is a responsible citizen’.
The PIB tweeted this message on Monday urging more people to vote, saying:
‘Voting is not just a responsibility, it’s a duty’
