"Victory and defeat are an integral part of life", says PM Modi accepting the people's mandate in assembly polls

The Election Commission on Tuesday declared the result for the five states that went into polls in November-December 2018, wherein Congress swept huge victory in Chhattisgarh(33 seats), Madhya Pradesh(63 seats) and Rajasthan(95 seats). In the light of the polls' results, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media to post a series of tweets in which he not only accepted the BJP party's defeat calling it the 'people's mandate', but has also extended congratulatory messages for the Congress party, KCR and MNF for their victories in three of the five assemblies in the polls.
