"Your continued commitment... ", says Bill Gates as he congratulates PM Modi on his 'remarkable win'
As the results of the Lok Sabha elections 2019 election was announced in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi created history by leading his Bharatiya Janata Party to a victory bigger than in 2014 by winning 303 seats on its own, once the richest man of the world Bill Gates congratulated him and applauded his commitment towards improving health sector in the country.Â

Responding to his tweet, PM Narendra Modi said thanked Bill Gates for his best wishes and said that health and nutrition are priority areas for the Government of India. He added that the government has made remarkable strides in these sectors during the last five years and that in this term they will do more work. Read his reply below:
While congratulatory messages poured on Twitter from across the world, including world leaders and celebrities. Among the 29 states and 7 Union Territories that went to polls in the 2019 elections, BJP along with its allies under NDA made a clean sweep in Arunachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Gujarat, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Puducherry, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand. In the North-Central belt of the country, NDA made an immense presence by winning a significant amount of seats in Bihar, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Among the southern states, while the NDA failed to make its presence in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, it came out victorious in more than half of the seats in Karnataka, which is currently ruled by the Congress-JD(S) alliance government.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister tendered his resignation to the President of India, Ramnath Kovind on Friday following which the President hosted a dinner for the outgoing cabinet.
PM Modi said that new dawn awaits as he will lead the country in the 17th Lok Sabha.
