Delhi Elections 2025: Ahead of Delhi elections 2025, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a scathing attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), accusing it of being embroiled in corruption and crimes while criticizing the state of the national capital's infrastructure.

CM Yogi also targeted AAP for its alleged support of Rohingyas, accusing the party of granting Aadhar cards to illegal immigrants. “AAP has given Aadhar cards to even Rohingyas, infiltrators. Delhi being the capital of the nation should be given importance. It is a pride for Delhi to be the national capital,” he said.

“AAP is the first party which has so many claims of corruption and crimes against them. They go to people, fool them, and ask for votes. I came from Ghaziabad directly to you and the roads are in a pathetic condition. Is this the kind of roads Delhi should have? Sewers are overflowing onto the roads,” CM Yogi said, drawing attention to the poor state of the city’s infrastructure. He also mentioned that during his drive, he noticed the Yamuna River was heavily polluted and stinking.

The Uttar Pradesh CM continued to criticize AAP’s governance, calling it a cause for the suffering of Delhi's citizens. “AAP has increased your pain and suffering. You don't get electricity, water, or a proper sewer system. I will again tell all of you that Kejriwal has robbed all the residents of Delhi,” he remarked, adding that the AAP government had failed to deliver basic services. CM Yogi also claimed that Kejriwal had exploited the poor, businessmen, and all the residents of Delhi.

In a direct appeal to the people of Mangolpuri, CM Yogi urged them to vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ) to bring about much-needed change. “Double-engine BJP government under Modi Ji will make Delhi great again. I appeal to all of you, people of Mangolpuri, to vote for BJP. AAP’s failure is clear, and it is time for change,” he stated.

Stressing on the success of the BJP-led government in Uttar Pradesh, CM Yogi pointed to the state's advancements in infrastructure, including its first-place ranking in expressways and railways. He compared the development in Uttar Pradesh to the deteriorating condition of Delhi and urged voters to support BJP for similar progress in the capital.

“If you want to see infrastructure and advancement, go to Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddha Nagar and compare it with the state of Delhi. AAP and its leaders have been jailed, have committed crimes, and have ruined Delhi,” he added.

The BJP leader also praised BJP's candidate for Mangolpuri, Raj Kumar Chauhan, urging the people to elect him as their MLA once again to ensure a better future for the youth, Dalits, and the poor. “Make Raj Kumar Chauhan your MLA again, and together we will bring development to Mangolpuri and Delhi,” he said.
