BRS MLC K Kavitha shakes a leg, joins party cadres during Balkonda constituency election campaign

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and Telangana MLC K Kavitha joined her party workers and danced with them while campaigning for the assembly elections in the Balkonda constituency on Wednesday (November 15). After joining a group of women cadres in the dance, Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter Kavitha also invited the candidate Prashanth Reddy to partake in the group dance. She also posted a picture on her social media handle on X and said, “Mood at Mortad, Balkonda today! Happiness is spending time with my people.”

While campaigning for the local candidate from Balkonda Vemula Prashanth Reddy who is also the Minister of Roads, Buildings and Legislative Affairs & Housing Department in the Telangana government, Kavitha said, “Congress and BJP parties only want to win the elections, BRS wants the people of Telangana to win and the lives of the people to improve. Let's make Minister Prashant Reddy who developed Balkonda like Bangarukonda win again.”

Elections to the 119-member Telangana Assembly will be held on November 30 and the counting of votes is scheduled for December 3. In the previous Assembly elections in 2018, the BRS won 88 of the 119 seats, hogging 47.4 per cent of the total vote share. The Congress finished a distant second with 19 seats and a vote share of 28.7 per cent.
