CM Zoramthanga defeated by ZPM's Lal Thansanga in Aizawl East-I

Aizawl: CM Zoramthanga defeated by ZPM's Lal Thansanga in Aizawl East-I. MNF candidate from Aizawl East-I and incumbnt CM Zoramthanga has lost to Zoram People's Movement candidate Lal Thansanga by a margin of over 2000 votes. 

Earlier, Deputy CM and MNF candidate Tawnluia has lost to ZPM candidate W Chhuanawma in the Tuichang seat by a margin of 909 votes. 

Health Minister R Lalthangliana is also trailing in the South Tuipui seat, and ZPM candidate Jeje Lalpekhlua was leading. Whereas ZPM's CM candidate Lalduhoma was leading in the Serchhip seat. 

ZPM has secured two seats and is leading in 24 seats as per the Election Commission, while ruling Mizo National Front has managed a lead on 10 seats.
