As we move into the final lap of the Haryana Assembly Elections, according to the Jan Ki Baat Opinion Poll results the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is projected to win between 58-70 seats, while the Jananayak Janata Party (JJP) is also projected to make its own mark in the upcoming state elections. JJP projected to win 7 seats

After a clash with the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) which is led by Dushyant's uncle Abhay Chautala, Dushyant carved out the JJP which has managed to gain even more prominence than the INLD. The INLD which is projected to win 0-1 seat will contest the upcoming state elections in an alliance with the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD). Throughout his campaigning in the state, Dushyant has always presented himself as the true inheritor of Devi Lal but has never mentioned his grandfather Om Prakash Chautala, who always backed his uncle Abhay Chautala. According to the Jan ki Baat projections, the rift between the Chautala clan has benefitted the JJP which is likely to get 25.6% of the vote share. The Chautala split has cost the Abhay Chautala-led INLD as the party is projected to win just one seat compared to the 19 seats it had won in 2014. Similarly, the vote share of INLD is also expected to fall from 24.2% in the previous assembly elections to 2.4% in the upcoming elections. Comparatively, the newly formed JJP is likely to see a vote share of 25.6% which is higher than the 24.2% that the INLD had got back in 2014.
