Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's two-day visit to Varanasi took a delightful turn as a young girl's poetic tribute captivated the leader. The girl, explaining photosynthesis, recited a heartfelt poem praising PM Modi, concluding with a spirited "Jai Modi Jai Hindustan," earning a "Waah" from the Prime Minister.
PM Modi, in Varanasi to launch projects worth Rs 19,000 crore, engaged in a road show, and inaugurated Kashi Tamil Sangamam 2.0, was drawn to the little poet at the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Exhibition.

Impressed by the little girl’s talent, PM Modi indulged in a light chat with the kid and asked her which vegetable she didn’t like, to which she responded “Bitter gourd”.
The kid then asked PM Modi if she could recite a poem in his praise, replying to her PM asked, “Kavi ho kya (Are you a poet)?”
The little girl responded promptly and recited the poem hailing the Prime Minister who listened intently and praised the kid before moving forward.

While addressing the gathering at Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Varanasi, PM Modi emphasized the crucial need for efficient implementation and timely delivery of government schemes to the people. Acknowledging the diverse range of government initiatives, he stressed that the focus should be on ensuring that these schemes reach citizens without hurdles.
"In our country, many government schemes have been made, based on the experience of all of them, I felt that the most important thing for the country to pay attention to is that the schemes of the government should reach people at the right time without any problems," Prime Minister Modi declared, underlining the importance of seamless accessibility to government programs.
Using the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana as an example, the Prime Minister emphasized that citizens should not need to chase the government for benefits. He articulated, “If there is a Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, then the houses should be built with the help of the government. There is no need to run after the government. The Govt should work from the front, and since you have given me this work, about four crore families have got permanent houses.”
PM Modi will launch and inagurate 37 projects worth more than Rs 19,000 crore for Varanasi and Purvanchal. He will also launch Kashi Tamil Sangamam 2.0 from Namo Ghat and flag off the new train from Kanyakumari to Varanasi.
