'Will have a grand meeting of BJP-AIADMK-PMK alliance on March 6, PM Modi will attend', announces Union Minister Piyush Goyal in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu
Railway Minister Piyush Goyal announced on Monday that the political parties of the NDA in Tamil Nadu will hold a grand meeting near Chennai, which will also be attended by PM Narendra Modi and Tamil Nadu CM E Palaniswami and O Panneerselvam. He also said that many other leaders from the alliance will be present and also share the stage with PM Narendra Modi.

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal announced on Monday that the political parties in the NDA- -BJP, PMK and DMK, in Tamil Nadu will hold a grand meeting near Chennai, which will also be attended by PM Narendra Modi and Tamil Nadu CM E Palaniswami and O Panneerselvam.
He also said that many other leaders from the alliance will be present and also share the stage with PM Narendra Modi.
"On March 6, we will have a grand meeting of BJP-AIADMK-PMK alliance near Chennai. PM Modi will attend the meeting along with Tamil Nadu CM, Deputy CM, the PMK leaders and several other leaders will share the stage," he said while addressing the press in Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu.
On February 19, the AIADMK officially became a part of NDA. Both BJP and AIADMK finalised the seat-sharing for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The BJP will contest from five out of forty seats in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The party will also support the AIADMK in by-polls which will happen for 21 constituencies.
The BJP and the AIADMK jointly briefed the media in Chennai in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu CM E Palaniswami and Deputy CM O Panneerselvam addressed the media saying, "The AIADMK and BJP will have an alliance for Lok Sabha elections which will be a mega and winning alliance - BJP will contest on five seats in Lok Sabha elections and we will be contesting together in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry."
PMK is getting 7 seats, BJP is getting 5 seats. The AIADMK will finalise the deal with other regional parties like DMDK,TK and IJK.
