In the movie, we see Aamir play the role of former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat who is struggling with societal oppression for making his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari champs at the Commonwealth Games. The movie earned around ₹ 387 crores at the box office.

PK

The movie is about an alien who comes to visit Earth and loses the only device he can use to communicate with his spaceship. Aamir Khan plays the role of PK in this film who, with his innocent nature and child-like questions, forces the people of the whole country to evaluate the impact of religion. This movie earned around ₹ 337 crores at the box office, making it the second highest-grossing film of Aamir Khan.

Dhoom 3

In the third movie of the Dhoom franchise, we saw Aamir play the role of a circus man in the US who is set to take revenge on the bank who was responsible for killing his father.
