Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan opens up about the pressures of being a star kid

The constant media glare has now become a constant companion of all the star kids in Bollywood. Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira Khan is no different. Ira recently spoke about the constant glare and pressure which comes along when you are a star kid in an interview. But she rather had a mature take on this subject. Ira revealed that her parents have handled her well since she was a child. This leads her to face no pressure now as a star kid. She also added that she understands the pressure surrounding a star kid but fortunately she is not affected by them. However, the star kid was also quipped on whether she yearns to stay away from the media glare sometimes.

Ira revealed that the constant glare around her has increased since she made her social media public

Ira replied to this, Ira stated that she spends most of her time away from the constant glare. Ira further added that now the limelight around her has further increased, now that she is young and has also made her social media handle public for the users. She said that she has normalised herself to this lifestyle. She also added that now it is a part of her life and it does not bother her anymore. 

Ira's directorial debut will also star Junaid Khan and Hazel Keech

Ira will reportedly make her directorial debut soon with a theatre production titled as, 'Euripides' Medea.' The play will be an adaptation of Euripides' renowned Greek tragedy Medea. The play will reportedly also star Aamir Khan's son, Junaid Khan and Yuvraj Singh's wife and Bollywood actor Hazel Keech. Talking about her debut, Ira revealed that there was no particular reason for her choosing her debut with theatre and not a film. She also added that she wants to explore both of the mediums. She stated that she chose theatre because she has always worked backstage. This was her only reason for making her directorial debut with theatre. The plot of the tragedy revolves around Medea whose husband Jason leaves her when he falls in love with the Greek princess of Corinth. She thus takes revenge by murdering the new wife of her husband along with her own children after which she heads towards Athens to start a new life.
