Adithya Varma the Dhruv Vikram-starrer movie gets a new release date

Adithya Varma is an upcoming romantic-drama Tamil movie directed by Gireesaya. The movie is bankrolled by Mukesh R. Mehta under the banner of E4 Entertainment. Adithya Varma is the remake of the hit Telugu movie Arjun Reddy. The movie was originally directed by Bala under the title Varma. However, due to creative differences with Bala, E4 Entertainment re-launched the entire cast and crew; only the lead actor Dhruv Vikram and music director Radhan were retained from the previous cast. The new version, titled Aditya Varma began with its shooting process in the month of March 2019 and it ended by May 2019.

The film Adithya Varma was scheduled to release on November 9. However, there is a change in the release date of the movie. Adithya Varma will now reportedly release on November 21. The reason behind the sudden change is not known yet. No official statements have come across from the makers of the movie about the reason behind the shift in the release date.

The plot of the movie revolves around a short-tempered house surgeon who gets used to drugs and consumed by the habit of drinking because his girlfriend marries another person. Adithya Varma stars Dhruv Vikram and Banita Sandhu in lead roles. While Priya Anand, Anbu Thasan and Leela Samson will be seen in supporting roles.
