Along with passionate romantic sagas, Karan Johar is known to have those exquisite picturesque locations and strong characters in his films. One such production was the 2016 musical romantic-drama Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. It was a tale of unrequited love starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai as lead actors. The story cited the facts that sometimes, even after giving your all into a relationship, you are not enough. Ever since the movie was announced, the hype surrounding the project was massive and its success at the box office proved that no one could portray passionate stories better than Karan Johar. Ranbir Kapoor’s stellar act
With every film, Ranbir has wonderfully managed to up his acting skills. Although his earlier romantic characters did not receive much attention, his fans feel that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is one of his best performances. In the film, Ranbir stars as a carefree and easy-going Ayan, who does not take anything seriously. However, at some point, he falls in love with Alizeh (Anushka Sharma), and as he realises that his love is one-sided, we see a restrained and more subtle side of his character. His intense performance made the audience connect with his character too early in the film.

In Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the characters of Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai do have an impact on Ayan’s life. They play a crucial role in making him the man he turns out to be. It would not be wrong to say that Alizeh was everything you would imagine Anushka Sharma would be in real life- never afraid to speak her mind and the one who carries her heart on her sleeves. On the other hand, although Aishwarya Rai had less screen time in the film, she managed to pull off a brilliant act. She played the enchanting Saba.
