Global icon Priyanka Chopra recently grabbed the attention of social media users after a picture of her smoking went viral on the internet. The actress who recently celebrated her birthday is currently vacationing in Miami along with husband Nick Jonas, mother Madhu Chopra and sister actress Parineeti Chopra. Recently a picture from her luxury getaway surfaced on social media where she can be seen smoking a cigarette, with Nick and Madhu by her side. It has brought in a lot of reaction from the netizens in connection to her inspiring revelation about being an Asthama patient earlier.

In September, last year, 'The Sky Is Pink' actress, Priyanka Chopra opened up about being asthmatic and her long struggle with the disease in a Twitter post. The actress who had partnered with Cipla Respiratory to create awareness about the condition to break the stigma surrounding its treatment, said, "Those who know me well know that I'm an asthmatic. I mean, what’s to hide? I knew that I had to control my asthma before it controlled me. As long as I’ve got my inhaler, asthma can’t stop me from achieving my goals & living a #BerokZindagi"

The video inspired many on social media. Eminent celebrities like Masaba Gupta came forward to hail the actress and called her story as 'an eye-opener to the world'.

Now, as the picture of her smoking surfaced, netizens came forward to check on her health. The picture was widely circulated on social media, while several people on social media criticized her for smoking, there were many who defended her.
