Ajay Devgn is one of the most known faces of Bollywood and has been in the industry for more than 26 years. He started his movie career with Phool Aur Kaante in the year 1991. He won also won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for the same and has not looked back after that. His movies have been hailed by critics and audiences alike. He is also a film director and producer. These are some of his movies that have gone on to become some of Ajay's most well-remembered roles.
DRISHYAM (2015)
Vijay, a local businessman, is suspected to be involved in missing of Goa's IGP's son. The police failed to find any evidence against him or his family. The movie was a huge success, and this became one of Ajay Devgn’s memorable performances. The film is directed by Nishikant Kamat.
RAAJNEETI (2010)
As the name suggests, the film is about politics. The son of a politician falls in love and chooses to settle down in the US. His plans change due to his father’s death. This pushes him to enter the murky world of politics. The movie was filled with some great starts, but whenever Ajay Devgn was seen on the screen, he stole the limelight with his great acting.
OMKARA (2006)
The movie revolves around Omkara who has won the elections. One of his men, Langda, plans a plot to take revenge from Omkara when he appoints Kesu as his successor. This movie was based on Shakespeare's Othello. It went on to become one of Ajay's most loved characters as the tortured Othello.
COMPANY (2002)
The story revolves around two gangsters who become very famous in the underworld. Their fame makes them drift apart from each other. This was incidentally Vivek Oberoi's debut film. The movie was critically acclaimed and also got great reactions from the audience. Ram Gopal Varma directed the movie.
GANGAAJAL (2003)
An honest police officer gets appointed to reduce the crime rate of the city. But he realises that his department is home to some corrupt officers. He weeds out these officers and the criminals to make the city better. Prakash Jha directed the movie. The movie had some intense scenes that drew on Ajay's on-screen presence. It was widely appreciated among mature audiences.
ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAI (2010)
Two gangsters, Sultan Mirza and Shoaib Khan compete against each other to be the superior one in the underworld. They try to rule the city with their own rules and regulations. Milan Luthria directs the movie.
