Ajay Devgn's 'Maidaan' is all set to release on November 27, 2020

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn's anticipated film Maidaan which is based on the Golden years of Indian Football is all set to release on November 27, 2020. The Golden era in Indian football is considered to be from 1952 to 1962. The shooting of the film is underway and is slated to finish by March 2020. It is alleged that the film is filled with a lot of VFX. The makers of the film are supposedly making sure that the film has some top quality VFX. It has also been reported that the VFX supervisor has been flown in from LA for this purpose.

A few days back, Amit Ravindernath Sharma, the director of the movie had posted a picture from the set of Maidaan on his social media. In the post, he can be seen in a football court, which is alleged to be in Lucknow. He stated on the post that the shooting of the movie was taking place in Lucknow. Fans have commented stating that they cannot wait for the picture to hit the theatres.

About the movie

Maidaan stars National award winner actor Keerthy Suresh opposite Ajay Devgn. The South Indian actor is making her debut in the Bollywood industry with the movie. It is alleged that the sports-based movie will feature Ajay Devgn in the role of Syed Abdul Rahim. Rahim is said to be the architect of modern Indian football.

Maidaan is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta. The film’s screenplay and dialogues are written by Saiwyn Quadros and Ritesh Shah respectively. The fans are eager to see what the film has in store for them.
