Akshay Kumar entered into the Bollywood as an action star and was colloquially known as 'Khiladi' in Bollywood post that. But since he ventured into the comedy genre in 2000, he has become one of the top Bollywood actors with a well-appreciated comic timing. He will be currently seen in Housefull 4 along with many other Bollywood actors as well. The unique thing about this Housefull series is that the plotline spans over a period of 600 years. Recently, his song Bala from Housefull 4 was also released which is currently a viral song and reminds us of Ranveer's avatar in Bajirao Mastani. Here are some of Akshay Kumar's best comedy movies.

Hera Pheri (2000)

Hera Pheri was the directorial venture of Priyadarshan in the comedy genre. The story revolved around three men who are in desperate need of money and fall into a serious line of troubles after they receive a ransom call and somehow plan to get a lump sum of money. The film was a massive hit and is counted as one of the best Akshay Kumar movies in 2000. 

Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007)

Bhool Bhulaiyaa was a unique film with the perfect mix of psychological, horror and comedy elements. Akshay Kumar plays a psychologist in the movie who is later found to be unravelling a mystery at his friend's ancestral palace in their native village.

Welcome (2007)

Welcome was a commercial hit as well as a fan favourite due to Akshay Kumar and especially Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor who made the movie a perfect family entertainer. It's a basic Bollywood masala film where a man falls in love with a gangster's sister and overcomes the obvious difficulties that follow.

Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004)

Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar spun a romantic-comedy entertainer with Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. This was the first movie where audiences can see a wonderful camaraderie between Salman and Akshay. The audience liked this pair so much that they could see them guest-starring on many occasions together. 

Phir Hera Pheri (2006)

Hera Pheri came with a sequel with the release of Phir Hera Pheri in 2006. In this plot, Baburao, Raju and Shyam venture out again with a new plan to earn more money. Akshay, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal's trio bring back their magic with their unmatchable comic timings.
