Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn who has been the dynamic duo of Bollywood in the early 2000s have shared screen space in a number of films. After their first collaboration in 1994 film 'Suhaag', they have worked together in number of other ventures including 'Khakee', 'Insan', 'Once Upon ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara!' and 'Hey Bro'. In fact, now, they are all set to share screen space in Rohit Shetty's upcoming cop drama 'Sooryavanshi' which is set for a 2020 release.

Akshay Kumar has a number of films in the pipeline for release. He will be starring in the upcoming venture, 'Housefull 4', 'Good News', 'Laxmi Bomb' and Rohit Shetty's 'Sooriyavanshi'. Moreover, on the occasion of his birthday, Akshay Kumar has confirmed that he will be donning the warrior hat for his next historical drama titled 'Prithviraj'. The actor unveiled the teaser and first look of the film and informed that the period film will be directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and will release on Diwali 2020.

Akshay Kumar's latest outing 'Mission Mangal' has been showered with lots of praise. The film celebrates the success of ISRO's Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) which made India the first country to launch its satellite in Mars' orbit in the first go. 'Mission Mangal' which emerged as Akshay Kumar's biggest opener has attained yet another remarkable feat by crossing Rs. 175 crore mark recently.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ajay who was last seen in 'De De Pyaar De' will be next starring in 'Bhuj: Ride of India'. In the patriotic drama, he will be essaying the character of Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik who was in-charge of Bhuj airbase during the 1971 war, which remained operational despite facing heavy bombing from Pakistan.
Moreover, he will also be starring in Om Raut's historical drama 'Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior', based on Subedar Taanaji Malusare, the military leader in the army of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who lost his life in the battle at Fort of Sinhagad. The film also starring Saif Ali Khan is set for 2020 release. Also, recently he commenced the shooting for his upcoming sports drama 'Maidaan'. The film is all set to highlight the golden years of Indian Football.
