Alia Bhatt reacts to Nushrat Bharucha's 'Ranbir Kapoor in towel' wish
When asked who would you want to see in a towel in the Bigg Boss show, 'Dream Girl' actress said: "Ranbir Kapoor" and later realized Alia Bhatt was just around!
The 20th Homecoming Edition of NEXA IIFA AWARDS stage saw Bollywood’s stylish and talented sibling duo Ayushmann Khurrana and Aparshakti Khurrana host India’s most awaited awards ceremony. The awesomely talented real-life sibling duo amazed the crowd present with their quick wit and zingers, leaving them in splits with their amusing one-liners and on-stage brotherly camaraderie.
In one of the audience interaction segments, Ayushmann walked to Nushrat Barucha and asked which actor would she want to see "in a towel" in the Bigg Boss show? To this, Nushrat said, "He was in a towel in his first film and it has always been him - Ranbir Kapoor." Hearing this, Ayushmann quickly informed Nushrat that Alia was sitting in the crowd and is listening to this. Nushrat then turned and saw Alia (who was nothing but smiling listening to this interaction) and instantly apologized.
While the two actresses blew some kisses to each other, Aparshakti walked to Alia and asked her what she thinks of Nushrat's wish of seeing Ranbir Kapoor in a towel and also teased the joke further by saying that Nushrat wants to see Ranbir "without" a towel. To this, Alia said, "everyone has seen him without one and later changed the topic. The entire banter was absolute fun for the audiences.
ALIA HELD RANBIR'S TROPHY CLOSE TO HER HEART
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor was awarded NEXA IIFA BIG 20 Award Winner for Best Performance In A Leading Role (Male) for 'Barfi'. Director Anurag Basu accepted the award on his behalf and immediately handed it over to Alia Bhatt after getting down the stage. Alia was caught on the cameras blushing and holding the trophy close to her heart. The 'Raazi' actress was also overwhelmed and cheered for boyfriend Ranbir when Vicky Kaushal mentioned him in his acceptance speech for 'Supporting role' in Sanju.
