Amitabh Bachchan exuberant as he tries professions he could never make

A career spanning close to five decades and it’s hard to imagine any role or character that Amitabh Bachchan has not portrayed. Be it the ‘Angry Young Man’ or those with grey shades, the veteran actor has showcased an array of performances over the year. In fact, we need the megastar himself to remind some of the roles that he probably would’ve missed in his career. Amitabh Bachchan had a child-like exuberance even after so many years in the industry, when he got the opportunity to step into the shoes of a doctor and astronaut, thanks to cinema.

New roles courtesy cinema 

Amitabh Bachchan shared photographs on Friday, where he is dressed in the operation theatre uniform of a doctor and the other with the heavy gear of an astronaut. Big B captioned the post, “2 professions I knew I could never make .. the Doc and the Astronaut .. but cinema gives me the provision .. “

The megastar has played the role of a doctor before, in the cult classic ‘Anand’ alongside Rajesh Khanna. But the role of an astronaut is perhaps one he hasn’t played before.  

While Amitabh Bachchan’s roles as a police officer, coolie, a lawyer have attained massive love, his fans would hope that these portrayals also turn out to be the best in his career. It is not clear which film Amitabh Bachchan shot in these get-ups for.

Professional front 

Amitabh Bachchan has had a good 2019 till now, that had started with the success of ‘Badla’, directed by Sujoy Ghosh and co-starring Taapsee Pannu. Big B had played the role of a lawyer in the movie, who gets involved in a murder case. The movie was among the most critically acclaimed films of the year and achieved great success. 

The ‘Don’ star is now gearing up for the release of ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’, a Telugu film starring actor-politician Chiranjeevi. The movie is gearing up for release on October 2. 

He also has multiple films lined up for next year, like ‘Brahmastra’, ‘Chehere’ and ‘Gulabo Sitabo’. 

Amitabh Bachchan is currently in the news for the ongoing season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati.’
