Chandra Barot’s Don featured Zeenat Aman, Helen, Pran, Om Shivpuri, Pinchoo Kapoor and Satyen Kappu alongside Amitabh Bachchan. The action thriller portrays Bachchan in a double role as a Bombay-based underworld 'Don' and his lookalike, Vijay who is a slum-dweller. Vijay's uncanny resemblance to Don leads him to become a police informant. Don turned out to be the third highest-grossing film of 1978 and was classified by Box Office India as a golden jubilee.
