Ananya Panday: Here is all you need to know about the SOTY2 star

Ananya Panday was launched in Bollywood by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Panday, the daughter of veteran actor Chunky Pandey, rose to fame with her Bollywood debut Student of the Year 2 alongside Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria. Student of the Year 2 is the second installment in the SOTY series. Here are all the details you need to know about the budding actor.

Ananya did her schooling from Dhirubhai Ambani International School and got through the University of Southern California but couldn’t pursue her education there due to her shooting schedules. Panday had not long ago silenced those who doubted her acceptance on social media, and was supported by her squad. Her girl gang consists of her best friend Shanaya Kapoor and Shahrukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan. She is also often seen hanging out with her cousins Ahaan Panday and Alana Panday.

Witnessing all the negativity on social media, Ananya also started a social media campaign called So+ (So Positive) which aims to fight cyber harassment. She introduced this initiative on World Social Media Day as a Digital Social Responsibility. Currently 20-years-old, she is happily pursuing her acting career. She was also a part of one of Will Smith’s Bucket List episodes.

Ananya Panday will be seen next in Pati Patni Aur Woh alongside Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar. The plot of the film revolves around the life of a married man who has an extramarital affair and the drama that follows. The film is the remake of Sanjeev Kumar’s popular film of the same name and will hit the screens on December 6, 2019. Ananya has also reportedly been signed up for Khaali Peeli which will hit the screens next year.
