'The Accidental Prime Minister' is one of the most anticipated films of the year. However, ever since the trailer of the film has dropped it has given rise to a whirlwind controversy.
The political drama is based on former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and his tenure as PMO. The film is established on a book of the same title written by former media advisor to Dr Manmohan Singh, Sanjay Baru.
In the film and the book that was released back in 2014, Baru claims that Dr Singh was never fully in control of his cabinet and a significant amount of power was wielded by then Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
However, recently the lead actor of the film Anupam Kher took to Twitter and questioned YouTube, claiming that the trailer of the film is either not appearing or is at 50th position. He further posted screenshots backing his claim.
Here's the tweet!
The movie is based on the book which was penned by political commentator Sanjaya Baru, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at the UPA administration.
