Anurag Kashyap turned 47 on 10th September. The ace-filmmaker who is known for his contribution in projects such as 'Gangs of Wasseypur', 'Bombay Talkies', and 'Sacred Games' celebrated his birthday with much pomp and cheer, along with social media filled with good wishes from all across. Gracing the special occasion was a delightful message from Kashyap's girlfriend Shubhra Shetty.

Shubhra's love-filled post for Kashyap: 

Posting a picture of the two on Instagram, she wrote, "You have lived 17,166 days. Keep going." Exchanging remarks with Shubhra the filmmaker shared the story on his social media account and replied, "Thank you. And since you have lived only 9,547 days, so don’t even compete."

Anurag and Shubhra: 

Speculations of something brewing between the two started back in 2015, and in an interview back then, Anurag Kasyap confirmed it saying that he has been in a 'relationship' for a very long time and that he does not believe in the fact that it is anybody's business to know. He went on to add that everyone needs to be in love at some stage or another.

Who is Shubhra Shetty: 

Shubhra Shetty was an associate at the now not functioning Phantom Films which was run by Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya Motwane and Madhu Mantena. The production house was dissolved as one of the members was accused of sexual harassment during Bollywood's #MeToo movement 

The ace-filmmaker, however, was married to Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin. 

Anurag Kashyap's marriage with Kalki

Kalki Koechlin was previously married to renowned filmmaker Anurag Kashyap who directed her critically acclaimed film 'That Girl in Yellow Boots'. The pair tied the knot in April 2011 after almost two years of dating and divorced in 2015. However, unlike most separated couples,  Kalki Koechlin and Anurag Kashyap are known to be good friends. Recently, they collaborated for Netflix's 'Sacred Games 2' and was seen bonding on the sets.
