Arjun Rampal's Mother Passes Away, Actor Shares A Moving Post

Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal lost his mother Gwen Rampal on Saturday, October 27. The 45 years-old today performed the funeral rituals in Worli, Mumbai supported by family and friends, who gathered to pay tribute to the lost soul. The 'Daddy' actor was known to be very close to his mother, and following her demise, the actor took to social media and remembered the departed soul. He shared a smiling picture of his mother on Instagram on Monday, October 29, and wrote a long emotional post announcing the death. He also thanked people including the medical personals who helped her while she was struggling with the deadly disease. 

In the post, he wrote, "After a long and successful fight my mother fought with her cancer, she breath her last on the 27th of Oct. In the time of our grievance, I just know that I have many people to thank and be grateful to, for giving her those extra years with us. As per media reports, Arjun's rumoured girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades, ex-wife Mehr Jessia and daughters Mahikaa and Myra Rampal were present at the funeral. The actor was also supported by his close friends and associates including Diva Dhawan, Abhishek Kapoor, his wife Pragya Kapoor, Kim Sharma, who came in to extend their condolence to the actor.

Arjun’s mother had been battling cancer for years now. As per media reports, she was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer four years ago. However, earlier this year, Arjun took to social media to let his fans known that his mother is cured of cancer a few months ago. In a video shared by the actor, he reportedly talked about his mother’s long battle with cancer and mentioned how Cancer is becoming like an epidemic these days and had said that his mother was treated at a research centre in Lisbon, where she was cured.
