Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap share their unique Diwali plans
Apart from spending time with family in Chandigarh, actor Ayushmann Khurrana and his wife Tahira Kashyap plan to make this Diwali special in a unique way.
Ayushmann Khurrana has undoubtedly gained a lot of praises from the audience and fans for his choices of scripts. The actor has always opted for something unique, be it his movie choices or keeping Karwa Chauth fast for his wife. In an interview with a leading news portal, the actor and his wife Tahira Kashyap shared their Diwali plans for this year. The couple has decided to distribute Diwali gifts that are handmade by women ragpickers who work as artists in a non-profit organisation, Gulmeher.
According to the Article 15 actor, Diwali is about making someone feel special. He said that while celebrating the festival with our families, we can also support and bring a smile to the faces of people around us. By gifting these products, they want to bring to light the life-changing work that Gulmeher organisation has been doing with these women who need our utmost support. The couple hopes that they can spread as much information as possible to support this cause.
Extending this thoughtful gesture, Tahira added to the conversation that they chose to gift products made by these women to highlight their excellent work and show them the positive results that they would achieve. The duo wants to bring their effort to focus and highlight that our lives matter and must not be wasted by doing dangerous jobs to simply live. Everyone needs to secure the future of such countless women so more and more people know about their work and in turn, support them.
On the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana is currently busy in the promotions of his upcoming comedy-drama Bala, releasing on November 7, 2019. Apart from Bala, the Vicky Donor star has various projects in his kitty including Gulabo Sitabo, which also features megastar Amitabh Bachchan. He has also announced the cast of the sequel of his 2017's hit Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.
