Ayushmann Khurrana's film Dream Girl to be released in Hong Kong
Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl is all set to make its way to Hong Kong, as it was announced that the film will be released on December 5, 2019.

Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl was critically acclaimed and was a box-office success. The film is now all set to release in Hong Kong on December 5, 2019. Earlier this year Zee Studios International, who distributed the film globally has partnered with MM2 to release the film in Hong Kong. The comedy-drama film, Dream Girl is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and co-produced by Ekta Kapoor. The film starred, Ayushmann Khurrana, Nushrat Bharucha and Annu Kapoor. In the film, Ayushmann played the role of a man with the talent of impersonating a woman’s voice.
On taking the film to Hong Kong, Vibha Chopra, Head-Global Syndication & International Film Distribution, Zee Entertainment, reportedly said that the quirky tale of Dream Girl transcends boundaries. It is a film that has emerged to be one of the biggest entertainers of the year. It also marks the 5th Bollywood release in this non-traditional market after Barfi!, Dangal, Secret Superstar and Hichki. She also stated that it is always a great feeling to take such films to unconventional territories and witness the diaspora’s reaction towards this film.
Ayushmann on picking the right script
Actor Ayushmann Khurrana was thrilled when he got to know that Dream Girl is his highest-grossing movie as of now, having raked in over ₹ 139 crores. The actor made his Bollywood debut with the film Vicky Donor in 2012 and since then there was no looking back for Ayushmann.
In an interview with a leading daily, on talking about picking the right film, Ayushmann said that as an artist, all you can do is believe that you are picking a good film that will entertain audiences thoroughly. He said that he had been lucky enough that more often than not, his films have worked at the box-office and have also got acclaims from audiences. He feels that it is always amazing to reach new milestones and he is deeply overwhelmed with how his films are being received by audiences. He further added that he wants to continue entertaining the people of this country and present them with content that is new, disruptive and thought-provoking and the success of Dream Girl is a total team effort backed by the brilliant script that bowled him over the moment he read it.
