Did you know Ayushmann Khurrana has a real-life connection with Vicky Donor?

Ayushmann Khurrana is known for his fascinating on-screen presence. He is also known to deliver back-to-back hits in recent times with his films like Andhadhun, Article 15, and Dream Girl. Recently his movie Bala released which has been performing well at the box office with Rs 100 crore collection worldwide. Ayushmann always wanted to become an actor and after winning the reality show MTV Roadies season 2 in 2004, he made his debut in the film Vicky Donor wherein he played the role of Vicky Arora, a sperm donor.

Drawing parallels between Vicky Donor and his real-life

His character in the movie was appreciated by the audience and he also won an award for Best Male Debut. The actor also has a real-life connection with his debut movie,Vicky Donor. And what's that? Well, before his first movie, where he played the role of a sperm donor, Ayushmann also did a task in the reality show MTV Roadies where he had to actually donate sperm in Allahabad.  Furthermore, the director of the movie, Shoojit Sircar also wanted a Punjabi guy who could connect well with television audiences and that is how he chose Ayushmann to play a sperm donor on the big screen.

On the work front

Ayushmann has two upcoming films lined up for 2020. He will again be seen sharing the screen space with his co-star Bhumi Pednekar after his recent movie Bala. Both will be seen in the forthcoming film Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. The actor also has another film with his debut director Shoojit Sircar which is Gulabo Sitabo. The movie will also star the veteran Amitabh Bachchan. The movie is scheduled to release in the month of February 2020 and the fans already seem to be excited about the movie. The Bala actor must definitely be honoured to share the screen for the first time with veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan.
