Ayushmann Khurrana shares his childhood stories and experiences
Ayushmann Khurrana recently featured in an interview with the renowned RJ and journalist, Neelesh Mishra, here is what he had to say about his childhood.

Ayushmann Khurrana is known for his fantastic on-screen presence. He has also been known to deliver back to back hits in the recent times and even bagging a national award for his film, Andhadhun. Recently, Ayushmann Khurrana revisited his childhood memories in a recent episode of a YouTube talk show. Here is what the National award-winning had to say with regards to his childhood memories in the interview:
Ayushmann describes his childhood to be ordinary and beautiful
During an interview, he revealed that he is a person who likes to live in the past and that he is a nostalgic person. Ayushmann also added that he spent his childhood as an ordinary person does being bullied, acting to be the bully, playing with other children from all walks of life. He also mentioned that it is all these experiences that an artist uses in his works which not only broaden the horizons of his thinking but also add nuances to their actions. Ayushmann's childhood never had any bad memories at any given instance, according to what the actor told.
Ayushmann talks about the punishment room
The interview begins with Ayushmann revealing about the punsihment room. He said that it was the punishment room because it was next to the living room, and was used to beat the brothers Ayushmann Khurrana and Aparshakti Khurrana when they would make any mischief. Ayushmann Khurrana also added that he and his brother Aparshakti Khurrana would be casually called into the room, they would go into the room wondering nothing has happened and then they would get bashed for their inappropriate behaviour.

The interviewer also asked Ayushmann about growing up and being schooled in an all-boys schooling environment. To which the Andhadhun actor replied that it was only the three years of his high school that he went to an all-boys school and that he attended co-ed schools for the significant chunk of his schooling life. He also mentioned his entire schooling journey from Kaman Convent School to St. John’s where he completed his school life. Ayushmann also described how the brothers had to spend the most prominent years of their school and college experience in an all-boys environment. Ayushmann told that he found his better half, Tahira Kashyap during these years, somewhere around the time when he was in 12th grade.
While talking about it, Ayushmann was also asked if he and Tahira had feared being spotted together back then? To which Ayushmann Khurrana replied that Chandigarh is a students' city, so the students that come from other places of the country can freely roam around with their loved ones and their romantic partners. However, for people who have had their childhood in the city, they have to have the company of their best friends so that they are not caught and spoken about, which was how he and Tahira met during Ayushmann’s childhood and early college life.
