Ayushmann Khurrana's film has been tagged as a laughter ride while addressing several society concerns. And, as a surprise to fans and netizens, the film has remained rock steady and is inching closer to the 100 crore mark. It is also one of the films that have so soon inched closer to the winning line despite facing competition from Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria starrer Marjaavan. Bala inches closer: 

Bala, released on November 8, 2019, has managed to collect about 100 crores at the box office worldwide. According to trade pundits, Bala has maintained a steady pace at the box office. According to critic Taran Adarsh, the movie garnered around 10 crores on its first day. Bala, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam in the lead, narrates the tragic tale of Bala, who experiences premature balding at a very early stage of his life. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the movie has managed to impress the critics with its emotional storyline and impeccable acting performance from the lead.

The actor's upcoming projects: 

Ayushmann Khurrana is currently riding high on the success of his latest release, Bala. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the movie has Ayushmann playing the role of a man dealing with premature balding. Bala also features Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar, alongside Khurrana. Meanwhile, Ayushmann is preparing to take the audience by surprise with his forthcoming flick, Gulabo Sitabo. Several media reports claim that Gulabo Sitabo narrates the tale of a grumpy landlord and his new tenant. In the film, Amitabh will be seen playing the role of a grumpy old man and Ayushmann will play the role of the tenant.
