Ram Gopal Verma has churned our some memorable films, and some memorable songs in them. One such song that fans remember is the song Bhoot Hoon Main from the movie Bhoot. Actor Urmila Matondkar starred in the original dance number and entertained audiences with her gothic look. However, Bhoot Hoon Main has been remade for the upcoming horror movie - Lupt. The new song will be choreographed by Shabina Khan, who also orchestrated the original number.
Prabhuraj was quoted by a leading entertainment portal saying that he started with Ram Gopal Varma as a location manager in 2000 with film Jungle and then met Shabina while assisting RGV in 2007. Back then, Shabina was choreographing the songs for RGV’s film and promised she would do the songs of his (Prabhuraj's) film whenever he makes one as a director. He said that the song should be out sometime next week.
Shabina Khan, who choreographed the original number with Urmila Matondkar in the lead, revealed that the song was her first assignment in Bollywood. Khan was left ecstatic that her number was a big hit amongst audiences. She hopes that the new song will also be a big hit amongst horror movie fans. Rumours were rife that the song was picturized on Sunidhi Chauhan but Natasa Stankovic will reprise the role in Bhoot Hoon Main.
The upcoming horror movie will be directed by Prabhuraj who has previously assisted the notorious Ram Gopal Verma in earlier projects. According to reports, Bhoot was a huge hit amongst horror movie fans when it released. Lupt will also feature veteran actors Javed Jaffrey and Vijay Raaz in lead roles. It is rumoured that the movie is inspired by a true story and also features Karan Anand, Meenakshi Dixit amongst others. Lupt is scheduled for a release on October 5.
