The movie has successfully created all the buzz right from the time the project was announced. Recently the lead actress of the film Bhumi Pednekar spoke about the film in an interview with a media portal. Bhumi’s take on Bhoot Part One – The Haunted Ship
Bhumi Pednekar who will be next seen in the film Saand Ki Aankh spoke in detail about her upcoming project Bhoot Part One- The Haunted Ship. In the interview with the media portal, Bhumi stated that she was never apprehensive about signing the film. She further revealed that she knew about the film right from the time of inception. She considers the director of the film Bhanu Pratap Singh a dear friend of hers and hence was glad to work with him. In the interview, she appreciated the film by stating that Bhoot Part One is going to be a genre-breaking film. It is going to change the language of horror films in India Bhumi further added. In the same interview, Bhumi also commented about her co-star Vicky Kaushal and said that Vicky is a phenomenal actor. She concluded by saying that she had to do the film for the love she had for the script and the people involved in the process.
Bhoot Part One – The Haunted Ship’s spooky details
Bhoot Part One- The Haunted Ship has been directed by debutant director Bhanu Pratap Singh. The film has been produced by Dharma Productions. This will mark the second collaboration between mead actor Vicky Kaushal and Karan Johar after Netflix’s Lust Stories. Bhoot Part One- The Haunted Ship will bring the fresh pairing of Bhumi Pednekar and Vicky Kaushal on screen. Shashank Khaitan the director of films like Humpty Sharma Ki Dhulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania also spoke about this horror film to another media portal. In his interview, he stated that the intention of Bhoot Part One is to be developed into a series. The series might also include a few horror comedies as well.
Vicky Kaushal suffered an injury while shooting for this film. While filming a scene for the film a door fell on Vicky which resulted in a cheekbone fracture for the Masaan actor. Vicky got 13 stitches due to this injury. According to reports, Bhoot Part One- The Haunted Ship is a story about a couple who visit an abandoned ship lying on the beach. Apparently, it is based on a true incident that happened in Mumbai.
