Bollywood actress and fitness enthusiast Bipasha Basu has not been seen on the silver screen for a long time now. But the actresses keep her fans engaged with her social media posts. Recently, she put out a post on Instagram celebrating 18 years of her debut film 'Ajnabee'. Bipasha Basu shared a poster of the film, which also starred Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor & Bobby Deol in the lead and thanked Team Ajnabee for the big break.

In the post, Bipasha Basu talked about her long journey in Bollywood and said that she is grateful that 18 years ago the film industry accepted her with open arms, and the audiences accepted her in their hearts so lovingly. She further stated that she is proud of herself for staying true to her individuality and achieved all on her terms only. Bipasha Basu thanked her fans and said that she loves being an actor.

Ajnabee

'Ajnabee' is a suspense thriller film directed by Abbas-Mustan and produced by Vijay Galani. It starred Bobby Deol, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Bipasha Basu in the lead, alongside Johnny Lever, Dalip Tahil, Narendra Bedi and Sharat Saxena in supporting roles. Ajnabee tells the story of two neighbors who gets involved in a murder case. The film is an adaptation of the 1992 American thriller Consenting Adults and released on September 21, 2001.

On the professional front

Bipasha Basu who has starred in over 50 films ever since her debut in 2001, last graced the screen in 2015 venture 'Alone' alongside husband Karan Singh Grover. The couple whose chemistry is rumored to have started during the shooting of the film tied the knot in 2016. The celebrity pair has been setting major relationship goals since then. Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover's social media PDA often goes viral on the internet.

Meanwhile, as per media reports, Bipasha Basu is currently filming a movie titled 'Aadat Diaries', however, not much information about the same is available yet.
