Besides masala action movies and usual romantic flicks, filmmakers have churned out some mind-bashing content-driven films. Many a time, Bollywood films aim for more than being just commercially successful. Distracted and pressurised children and youth nowadays need a direction to focus their energies on. The Indian film industry, which understood this fact well, had gifted us with some unforgettable movies including Lakshya and Taare Zameen Par. 1.      Stanley ka Dabba

This Bollywood flick beautifully showcases the life of a child who shares an unbreakable bond with his classmates and Rosy miss. Stanley Ka Dabba features a fourth standard student who is usually rebuked and punished on his inability to bring tiffin box to school. One day Stanley stops coming to school. The ending of this movie will move you to tears.

2.      Iqbal

Sharing an inspiring message, this movie showcases a dumb and deaf young lad who is unwilling to give up on his dreams. The lead character gives his sweat, blood, and tears to become national level cricket player. Mentored by Naseeruddin Shah, he does not let his physical inability be an obstacle on his way to success.

3.      Anjali

Anjali was a two-year-old baby girl, who suffers from mental issues. Helmed by Mani Ratnam, this critically acclaimed movie portrayed three siblings, the youngest one is mentally impaired. While the family is going through several problems, Anjali was dying. The story deals with unexpected traumatic experiences the family undergoes before she passes away.

4.      Anand

Legendary actor Rajesh Khanna portrayed a man who is suffering from a rare type of cancer. With his cheerful and jolly behaviour, Anand befriends his doctor, played by Amitabh Bachchan. The doctor and the patient are like North Pole and South Pole. Anand is quite aware of his disease and the fact that he will live only for the next six months. Therefore, he makes everybody’s life surrounding him beautiful and lives every minute of his life with gratitude and joy.
