Boman Irani in 3 Idiots
Boman Irani essayed the character of ‘Viru Sahastrabudhhe’ in the college drama, 3 Idiots. In an interview with a leading daily, Boman Irani revealed that he wanted to keep his character in the movie extremely simple. The actor added that he attended several speech sessions to bring authenticity to the character. Boman Irani also informed that he placed a gum between his teeth to deliver the dialogues with a sneer. Irani added that the makers of the movie left no stone unturned to bring sublimity to the character, as they had roped in various designers to design a new wardrobe for Boman’s character. Boman Irani has essayed the character of a principal in various films like F.A.L.T.U and Munnabhai MBBS. He was also honoured with a Filmfare Award in the 'Best Supporting Actor' category.
