Chunky Panday on dealing with the lows in his career
Chunky Panday enjoyed his fair share of fame during the initial stages of his career. The actor realized that by the late 90s and early 2000s, the new generation had completely forgotten Chunky as an actor. When asked about the low phase of his career, Chunky Panday opened up on how he dealt with it. Chunky Panday told news agency PTI that actors need to be 'shameless' in order to be at the top of their game.
Speaking about dealing with the high and low phases of his career Chunky Panday said, "I believe an actor should be shameless. You get into depression when you are sitting at home and have no work, especially after being at the top of your game... where you have seen the highs and people were chasing you."
Chunky Panday returns to Bollywood
When Chunky Panday’s luck was not going well in the Bollywood industry, Chunky Panday turned to Bangladeshi films in order to be able to continue to do what he knows best, acting. The actor gave about three-four hits there. After spending considerable time in the Bangladeshi movie industry, the actor’s wife, Bhavna Panday, told him with all due respect that his passion and calling will always be Bollywood. Chunky Panday finally returned to Bollywood with a bang in Housefull. Chunky knew just how to win everyone’s again. This time, Chunky Panday was here to stay.
On the work front
Chunky Panday has been recently seen playing negative roles. Chunky Pandey was last seen in Sanjay Dutt's Prassthanam in a negative role. This was his third negative role after Begum Jaan and Saho. Chunky Panday seems to enjoy playing the villain.
"A lot of people did not expect me to do a villainous role," said Chunky Panday and he added that he was inspired to take up negative roles after watching Rishi Kapoor as Rauf Lala in Agneepath (2012). I wish I had done this earlier. A hero is very boring. He has to do all the good things... While a villain can do everything," Chunky Panday said to PTI.
As of now, Chunky Panday is awaiting the release of Housefull 4. Housefull 4 is the fourth addition to the Housefull franchise. Chunky Panday plays the comic character Akhri Pasta, as he did in all previous parts. He will reportedly be seen playing the role of Vasco Da Gama’s nephew in the movie.
