Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh who made his debut in the Hindi film industry with 'Udta Punjab' back in 2016, is roped for yet another Bollywood venture. In one of the interesting collaborations of recent times, he has been paired opposite 'Uri: The surgical Strike' actress Yami Gautam.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and made the announcement of the same. In a recent post, he revealed that Yami and Diljit are all set to share screen-space in Ramesh Taurani's yet untitled venture that will be helmed by director Haroun Mirza.
The filmmaker is reportedly the son of ace director Aziz Mirza and has previously assisted his father on several projects including 'Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman' and 'Yes Boss'. It is reportedly scripted by Vibha Singh and Arshad Sayed and is all set to go on floors on Aug, this year.
Giving out details about the upcoming project, Adarsh wrote, "IT'S OFFICIAL... Yami Gautam and Diljit Dosanjh in Ramesh Taurani's next venture [not titled yet]... Directed by Aziz Mirza’s son Haroun, who assisted his father on #RajuBanGayaGentleman and #YesBoss... Written by Vibha Singh and Arshad Sayed... Starts Aug 2019."

Meanwhile, on the acting front, Diljit Dosanjh recently wrapped up shooting for his upcoming Bollywood venture 'Good News' which also stars Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, and Kiara Advani in the lead. The film will be hitting the silver screens on September 6 this year.
Yami Gautam who last appeared in 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' which released earlier this year, will be next starring in 'Bala' alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar.
