Dabangg 3: Will Salman Khan's film surpass Dabangg 2's collections?

Dabangg 3 is an upcoming Hindi cop-comedy drama. The movie is the sequel to the 2012 film Dabangg 2 and is the third instalment in the franchise. Starring Salman Khan, Saiee Manjrekar and Sonakshi Sinha, Dabangg 3 is set to release this December 2019. Helmed by Prabhu Deva, Dabangg 3 promises a variety of action sequences, dramatic flares, and hilarity. As always, the story is set in that state of Madhya Pradesh where Chulbul Pandey will once again carry on with his adventures.

Cast and crew

Along with Salman, the movie also features Mouni Roy, Arbaaz Khan, Mahie Gill, and Sudeep. Earlier, the movie’s first poster released where Salman donned his classic khaki uniform and it read ‘Swagat toh karo humara'. It created massive hype for several reasons. Firstly, it was the official announcement of Salman’s new film. Secondly, it is the third installment in the Dabangg franchise. Produced by Arbaaz Khan, the film will once again star Arbaaz as Chulbul's brother Makhanchand Pandey. We love the Dabangg franchise for its action, drama and nonsensical humour.

Dabangg 3 trailer

Dabangg 3’s trailer garnered several views within the first few hours of its release. The trailer was hard-hitting and left quite an impact on his fans, who had been waiting to see him in the action-packed avatar for some time. The trailer also shared a few glimpses of Saiee, who will be making her debut with Dabangg 3.

Box office expectations

Dabangg 2 (2012), made a whopping 250 crores at the box office. Is there any chance that Dabangg 3 will hit the mark at the box office? Definitely, given the hype, we have seen with just the release of the teaser and trailer. The movie is scheduled to release on December 20, 2019. This makes it possible to reach that mark as it is Salman’s big hit and also it is being released during the holidays. Furthermore, the audience is stoked and cannot wait to see what the film has in store for them. The movie will include various action sequences, nonsensical humour and dramatic flares.
