From the mega anticipation of the official wedding pictures of the couple to the week-long post-wedding celebration, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have constantly been in the media glare. In a recent interview, Ranveer Singh revealed that the couple tried their best to keep their wedding a personal affair but failed to keep the media glare at bay.

Now, Deepika Padukone has been quoted revealing details about Ranveer Singh being an ace husband. She termed her decision to marry Ranveer Singh as her "best decision". The actor revealed details of how she knew that her Bajirao Mastani co-star was 'the one' for her. Deepika also stressed on Ranveer being a strong support system in her life.

1)     “Marrying him was the best decision of my life, my husband is very supportive”

Deepika never stops gushing about how much she enjoys being Mrs. Singh! Deepika, while giving an interview to a media organisation, said that her beloved hubby is very supportive. Deepika also said that marrying Ranveer Singh was her "best decision". This comes after Ranveer recently said that the reason Mr. and Mrs. Singh moved to Deepika's apartment after marriage was because the love-struck husband wanted to ‘Adapt to her set-up’. “I’ve grown up seeing a marriage where the attitude is to make it work regardless of anything. A marriage is a commitment, out is not an option. So whatever you have to work through, you do,” he said. “The most sensible and convenient thing was for me to move into her set-up. She is comfortable there and I don’t want to displace her. I always try to give her priority.”

2)     “It was real!”

It has been 12 years since Deepika Padukone's first Bollywood movie Om Shanti Om and many still remember her dialogue “Ek Chutki Sindoor ki kimat.” Speaking about the moment that the sindoor was put on her in real life, Deepika Padukone said that it was a magical moment for her. The actor shared that it all sunk in when Ranveer reached to fill in the Sindoor on her forehead. “You watch it on screen, or you read about it, or see other people go through it, and then it happens to you. It's beautiful!” Deepika said.

3)     “The fact that we wake up to each other, that’s the most beautiful thing”

Deepika Padukone also revealed how she knew Ranveer Singh was the one for her. Deepika, in an interview, shared that before Ranveer came into her life, she felt very alone. The actor said, "with every moment I spent with him, it was getting clear that he is the one I want to spend my life with." Apart from the fact that DeepVeer can’t spend much of their time together given their hectic schedules, Deepika said the fact that they wake up to each other is all that matters. 

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got married in Italy on November 14 and 15, 2018. The actor will next be seen in her upcoming film Chhapaak where she will be playing the character of an acid attack survivor. The film will hit the theatres on 10 January 2020.
