Deepika Padukone recently walked the ramp for designer Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla and celebrated 33 years of their brand with a grand fashion exhibition in Mumbai.

Deepika breaks into an impromptu dance: 

For the ramp, Deepika was dressed in a star-dust gold embellishment lehenga with a long veil. Looking at the pictures that surfaced on the internet, one can say that the 'Padmaavat' actress rocked her look, and if that wasn't enough, Deepika also broke into an impromptu dance on 'Disco Deewane' at the ramp show.

In a series of pictures and videos that have surfaced online, Deepika can be seen having a jolly good time while walking the ramp hand-in-hand with Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The actress looked like a vision, and when she broke into a dance at the end of the show, Amitabh Bachchan's daughter, Shweta Bachchan left her front-row seat and joined in the celebration!

On the professional front: 

Deepika Padukone will next be seen in Chhapak'. 

The 33-year-old actor will essay the role of Laxmi, who at the age of 15, was attacked allegedly by a spurned lover in 2005. Laxmi had to undergo several surgeries. Later, she took up the job of helping acid attack survivors and promoted campaigns to stop such attacks. Her attacker, a 32-year old man, was an acquaintance of her family. Laxmi is a well-known advocate of stricter punishments in acid attack cases.

The film is being helmed by Meghna Gulzar and also stars Vikrant Massey. It is being co-produced by Deepika and Fox Star Studios.

On the personal front, she is married to Ranveer Singh and is currently in London.

Meanwhile, Ranveer is currently shooting for the movie ‘83’, where he is playing the role of then Indian Cricket Captain Kapil Dev, who lifted the first World Cup for India. Deepika is playing the role of Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Dev. It is the first time the duo is sharing screen space after ‘Bajirao Mastani’ since, in ‘Padmaavat’, they didn’t have any scenes together.‘83’ is gearing up for release on April 10, 2020.
