Deepveer: Deepika and Ranveer’s Diwali photo missing for this reason?

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are one of the most popular celebrity couples in the Hindi film industry. The duo never fail to paint the town red with their love and their die-hard fans often go gaga over their social media PDA. Ever since their fairytale wedding at Lake Como, Italy, DeepVeer, as their fans popularly call them, have been sharing all their special moments as well as all the special occasions on their social media. The couple also celebrate each other's achievements on their social media which makes them pure couple goals for their fans. Many Bollywood celebrity couples have recently shared their Diwali pictures on their social media which left their fans waiting for a Diwali picture of their beloved DeepVeer too.

Deepika and Ranveer rung in the Diwali festivities with their families

However, their die-hard fans were disappointed as the couple did not share any Diwali pictures on their social media. Reportedly, Ranveer and Deepika spent their Diwali with their families. According to media reports, the couple rung in the festivities with their families which was an intimate affair. If reports are to be further believed then, both the set of parents, the Padukones and the Bhavnanis along with the respective siblings of the couples were in Mumbai to have a cosy and private celebration. The couple reportedly wanted some peaceful quality time with their families so they decided to miss all the Diwali celebrations a miss.

Deepika will soon be seen in the film Mahabharata where she will play Draupadi

Reportedly, the couple wanted to spend some much-needed time together before they get busy with their respective projects. According to media reports, Deepika has been roped in to star in the magnum opus Mahabharata. The film will be helmed by Shakun Batra and will be produced by Karan Johar. She will be essaying the role of Draupadi in the film. Ranveer will also star in the film, Jayeshbhai Jordaar which will be a Yash Raj Films production. The film will be directed by Divyang Thakker. The couple will also be seen together in the Kabir Khan directorial 83.
