Dharmendra breaks silence on kissing Shabana Azmi in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani debuted in theatres on July 28. Along with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, the film starred Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan in major roles. As the movie completed a week in the cinema halls, the team reunited to celebrate the success of RARKPK. 

In a press conference hosted by the makers, Dharmendra was asked about his sensational kiss with Shabana. The actor stated that it was an easy task for him, making the audience break into laughter.

Dharmendra addresses kissing scene in RARKPK

At the press conference, Dharmendra was questioned about his kiss with Shabana Azmi in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The actor said, "yeh toh mere baayen haath ka khel hain (this is such an easy task for me)." He proceeded with his funny remarks and said, "Jab jab mauka milta hai, chakka maar deta hoon (whenever I get an opportunity, I make full use of it)" and "bohut maza aaya (had a great deal of fun)" as he described his experience.

What’s RARKPK about?

Ranveer Singh plays the role of a fitness enthusiast hailing from a Punjabi family in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. He falls in love with Rani (Alia Bhatt), who plays a journalist from a Bengali family. The couple goes through a ‘switch’ to spend time with each other’s family in order to convince them of their union. 

The film’s ensemble cast features legendary actors like Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan. The supporting cast includes actors like Tota Roy Chowdhury, Ronit Roy, Saswata Chatterjee, Karmveer Choudhary, and Kshitee Jog.
