Actor Dia Mirza recently posted a picture with a heartwarming caption for her friend, Siddharth Shanghvi. The post started off with Mirza talking about the first time she met Shanghvi, who is widely known for writing his first novel titled The Last Song of Dusk in 2004. She further added that the author had entered her mind and heart when she first read The Last Song of Dusk back in 2004. Dia Mirza also said that both were very young at that time and suffered many personal losses.

The heartwarming caption posted by Dia Mirza was appreciated by Shanghvi wherein he called the actor who was an independent human being with a sense of intelligence and stillness, showing that whether pen someone is marred by losses and is able to handle it with maturity then they are no longer defined by those losses

A friendship not marred by distance

Sanghvi said both of them planned to meet but were unable to do so for months until at their mutual friend Aindrila Mitra Rajawat at the Travel & Leisure India's awards event in Delhi. He further added that both of them talked about how that space of friendship remained between them, while they were continued to respect and recognise "an empathy for language, nature, solace in solitude and for a companionship that is ahead of words".

The post by the Tumsa Nahi Dekha actor has garnered more than 100,000 likes at the time of this publication, with many calling the picture and caption beautiful. Mirza also posted a story wherein she called Shanghvi an old friend and wrote: "I will always love you."

On the work front, Dia Mirza was last seen in a Zee5 original web series titled Kaafir and her last Bollywood movie was Sanju wherein she played the character of Sanjay Dutt's wife Manya Dutt opposite Ranbir Kapoor who played the role of Sanjay Dutt.
