Did Rajkummar Rao Hint At A 2019 Release For The Sequel Of 'Stree' In His Latest Post ?

 Rajkummar Rao who is currently basking in the success of his latest release 'Stree' has moved on to the shoot of his next film 'Mental Hai Kya' opposite Kangana Ranaut. 'Stree' is a horror-comedy film and received love and appreciation from the audience. So, much so that audience is eagerly awaiting the release of its sequel. 

The 'Stree' actor in his latest Instagram post, shared a picture of himself and captioned it as, "O Stree agle saal phir aana." 

This caption has got the fans excited, who is now expecting a sequel. If this post is indeed a hint from the actor's side, fans are sure to be treated with the sequel in 2019. 'Stree' released on August 31 and in its third week is inching towards the majestic box office number. The movie has almost neared the Rs 100 crore mark.

The film also features Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, among others. The film is based on the Indian urban legend 'Nale Ba' (which means come tomorrow), a witch who huntsmen at night. However, in this film, it is shown that the ghost avoids houses who paint their walls with 'Oh Stree Kal Aana' with red ink. The film was helmed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock films. The film ended with a mystery surrounding Shraddha Kapoor's character. Throughout the film, much was not spoken about her character, giving rise to further curiosity. 

Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao has several films lined up for release including 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga', and '5 Weddings'. He is currently working on 'Mental Hai Kya' and recently collaborated with Hansal Mehta for his next film.
