Recently, singer Ranu Mondal broke her silence over the matter and stated that if Salman Khan had gifted her a house then he would have made an announcement about it. But, till he doesn’t officially announce anything, it would be wrong to assume things.", she said
Ranu Mondal breaks silence:
She further said, "I didn’t tell anyone to help me and I’ll not ask for any help from Salman Khan too. At first, when I heard these rumours, I thought it could be true or not. I also heard him gifting me a red car, there were a lot of them. But, I would’ve trusted the news only if Salman had contacted me directly."

After the video of Ranu Mondal went viral, her daughter, Swati managed to find her mother and after the two reconciled, there was a moment of celebration.
For those who are not aware, Ranu Mondal's rendition of Lata Mangeshkar's 'Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai' landed her winning praise from the internet and Bollywood celebrities. Singer Himesh Reshammiya was so impressed that he also had her record a song for his upcoming film, 'Happy Hardy'

Talking about Ranu Mondal, Himesh Reshammiya said that he feels that she is blessed with divinity and said that her voice was so mesmerizing that he could not stop himself from offering her the best he could. Himesh Reshammiya further stated that her voice should reach everyone and he is just offering a platform for the same.

On the professional front, Salman Khan is basking the success of his latest stint, 'Bharat', that raked high numbers at the box office. He will next be seen in 'Dabangg 3' alongside Sonakshi Sinha and was also to star in 'Inshallah' opposite Alia Bhatt, but the film by Sanjay Leela Bhansali was unfortunately shelved.
