Disha Patani is an Indian actress who primarily works in Hindi films. She started her career with a Telugu film and got a major break with M.S.Dhoni in 2016.

Talking about Disha Patani's filmography, she started her acting career with the Telugu film Loafer opposite Varun Tej in 2015. In the film, she played the role of Mouni, a girl who runs from home to escape a forced marriage. The film was directed by Puri Jagannath and produced by C. Kalyan under C.K. Entertainment. However, the will did not do well at the box office.
When Disha Patani entered Bollywood
In the following year, Disha appeared in a music video named Befikra alongside Tiger Shroff. It was produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishnan Kumar under T-series. Befikra was composed by Meet Bros. Written and directed by Meet Bros, singer Aditi Singh Sharma lent her voice to Befikra. Being consistent on her modelling and acting journey so far, Disha found her commercial break with Neeraj Pandey’s M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story in 2016. The film was the story of the legend of the Indian Cricket Team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The untold story showed never known facts from MSD’s life and his journey from a ticket collector to trophy collector, the World Cup-winning captain of the Indian Cricket Team. The film cast Sushant Singh Rajput as M.S.Dhoni, Disha Patani as the love of his life and Kiara Advani as his girlfriend turned wife. In the romantic and inspirational biopic, Disha Patani played the role of Priyanka Jha, his girlfriend who dies in an accident. Directed by Neeraj Pandey and produced by Fox Star Studios, M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story released in September 2016 and was a major hit at the box office. Her pair with Sushant Singh Rajput was equally loved by the audience. Her performance was widely accepted.

Later, Disha Patani featured in Jackie Chan’s Kung Fu Yoga opposite Sonu Sood. In 2018, she starred in romantic-action thriller Baaghi 2 opposite Tiger. It was the sequel of Sabir Khan’s Baaghi (2016) which featured Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor. The actress will next be seen in Mohit Suri’s Malang in 2020. She has also been roped in for Radhe starring Salman Khan.
