'Dream Girl' emerges as Ayushmann Khurrana’s highest-grossing film
Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl has emerged as his highest-grossing film with Rs.139.70 cr beating the lifetime collection of his former blockbuster Badhaai Ho.
Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana's latest outing Dream Girl is ruling the box office. The film which made it as Ayushmann Khurrana's biggest opener has attained yet another remarkable feat. Dream Girl has now also has emerged as his highest-grossing film beating the lifetime collection of his former blockbuster Badhaai Ho. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter on Monday and revealed the same. In a recent post, he said that the film has minted over Rs. 139 crores on the fifth week of its release.

Dream Girl
The comedy-drama Dream Girl features Ayushmann Khurrana as a Tele caller who aces his female alter ego Pooja while calling his customers. The film takes interesting turns as his customers eventually fall for him, unaware of his originality and come down to pulling each other's hair. Filmmaker Raaj Shaandilyaa made his directorial debut with Dream Girl. Besides Ayushmann Khurrana, the film also stars Nushrat Bharucha, Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh, and Vijay Raaz among others in the lead.
Badhai Ho
Badhai Ho starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra, Gajraj Rao, and Neena Gupta in the lead had also emerged as a box office winner. The coming-of-age family entertainer celebrates love, family and everything in between. The film revolves around the pregnancy of Priyamvada, essayed by Neena, who is in her later 40s or early 50s, and the news sees the entire family having a nervous breakdown with the news. The comedy-drama is originally directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and is jointly produced by Vineet Jain, Hemant Bhandari and Aleya Sen under the banner of Junglee Pictures and Chrome Pictures.
Ayushmann Khurrana's recent ventures
With back to back hit ventures, Ayushmann Khurrana became one of the most promising actors in the industry. After Dream Girl, Ayushmann Khurrana also has a number of films in the pipeline for release. He will be starring in Bala, Gulabo Sitabo and, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and all three films are set for a 2020 release.
