Farhan Akhtar wishes a fun-filled day for daughter Akira

Farhan Akhtar seems to have had a great year. He started the year on a good note by producing the blockbuster Gully Boy that will be India's official entry for the Academy Awards. He even co-produced the TV series Made In Heaven which has received critical appreciation and a good word of mouth form the audience. The actor has starred opposite Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the drama film The Sky Is Pink which was also premiered at The Toronto International Film Festival. He recently also announced the second season of Inside Edge that will be aired on December 6, 2019. Farhan, who is an active member of social media, took to his Instagram handle on Sunday to post a cute picture.

The Toofan actor recently shared an adorable post on his Instagram of his daughter Akira Akhtar in which the latter was seen posing in a very adorable manner. Farhan, in his caption, wished his daughter to have a day that is filled with 'fun, friends and dogs'. It seems like the actor and his daughter have great love and affection for animals. Farhan has mostly kept his kids away from the limelight and managed to keep some privacy in his personal life. He even shared a throwback picture of himself and his sister Zoya Akhtar a few days back on his Instagram with their mother Honey Irani where they were seen cherishing some great childhood memories. The post received a lot of love from his fans and well-wishers.

Farhan will be soon seen in the upcoming sports drama film Toofan that is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Farhan will be portraying the role of a boxer and the poster of the film is already released by the makers on social media. The film is written by Anjum Rajabali while the dialogues are penned by Vijay Maurya. The actor has shared a lot of posts of his work-out sessions, as part of his preparation for Toofan. It seems like he has been working hard on his character for a long time. It will release on October 2, 2020. It is the second collaboration of Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra and Farhan Akhtar after the successful sports biography Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
